Carnivore meal plan
Eggs, mince, and a fatty cut, across a few days. The amounts are an example for an office day.
At a glance
- A week of eggs, mince or a braising cut, and a piece with visible fat.
- The amounts are an example for an adult with an office day.
- Animal-based eating keeps the same amount of meat and adds berries, cheese, or a little honey.
- Liver once or twice, 20–50 g, mixed into the mince.
An ordinary week
The amounts are the same as on the daily-examples page. They are for an adult with an office day. If your work is physical, eat more of the same. If lunch already filled you, make dinner smaller or skip it.
Monday is three eggs in butter, salt, and coffee. Lunch is 250–350 g of beef mince in tallow or butter, salted properly. Dinner is 300 g of steak, and you eat the visible fat. Tuesday, the steak leftovers go with the eggs, lunch is mince or a braising cut again, and dinner is fish. Wednesday is whatever is left of the roast. Thursday is eggs and fish, or mince again. Friday is whatever is in the fridge. Saturday is the more expensive cut, if the rest of the week was mince and braising meat. Sunday is leftovers, or just two meals.
Liver once or twice in the week, 20–50 g, mixed into the mince. Not half a pound at once. Drink water, coffee, or tea. Bone broth if you have bones.
Fruit, honey, and yogurt do not belong in this week.
If you eat animal-based
The same amount of meat. In the morning, berries or an apple with the eggs. At lunch, a piece of hard cheese or yogurt if you tolerate it. Honey as a small addition. Juice, a smoothie, and granola beside the steak are not animal-based eating as this site uses the term.
Pregnancy, kidney disease, gout, and a known lipid disorder belong with a clinician before you start. The seven-day and thirty-day start is under Start here. What often shows up in the first weeks is on the side-effects page.
